MSI announce the release of the new desktop PC MSI Wind Nettop CS120 in the U.S. MSI Wind Nettop CS120 Combines Energy Saving, Ultra-Silence, and Multimedia Entertainment.
The Wind Nettop CS120 is a bit slower than the CS100 is a single core 1.6 GHz Atom 230 rather than the dual-core Atom 330, but is a complete system with 1 GB of internal memory, a 160 GB hard drive, and 802.11g Wi-Fi. It is also one of the few nettops have a built-in DVD burner instead of based on USB memory or on the network.
The Wind Nettop CS120 has room for expansion of a total of 2 GB memory and a CF card slot, a total of 6 USB ports, Ethernet and VGA out, Windows XP Home is the only operating system choice. MSI did not mention pricing practices or specific release dates for the new Wind desktop.
