MSI X-Slim is in Japan in May 2009. The MacBook Air competitor was announced at CeBIT 2009 in Hannover.
MSI X-Slim measuring only 19.8mm thick, the X-Slim has a Core 2 Solo SU3500 processor running at 1.4GHz with 2 GB RAM, and a selection of the 320 GB hard disk or a 250 GB hard disk. This super-slim laptop also has HDMI, Bluetooth and optional 3G and Wimax module. MSI X-Slim is available at a price of 100,000 yen ($ 1029).

Toshiba UK have announced the Toshiba Mini NB200, the European version of the Toshiba Dynabook UX 10.1-inch Netbook.
Toshiba Mini NB200 Netbook features a selection of 1.6 GHz or 1.66GHz Intel N270 Atom N280 processor, combined with 945GSE graphics, WiFi, Bluetooth, and an optional integrated 3G mobile broadband. There is also a VGA webcam, three USB 2.0 ports and a 3D accelerometer, the locking of the 160GB hard drive, as the Netbook decreased. If a standard mini NB200 comes with a 3-cell battery good for up to four hours operating time, but now optional 9-cell battery offers up to nine hours of operating time. The Toshiba NB200 mini is in the United Kingdom in May 2009 for $ 465.
